LOUISIANA — Several people have been arrested following a narcotics investigation in Livingston Parish, authorities report.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said agents were investigating the distribution of crack and powder cocaine from multiple residents on T. Selders Road, near Turkey Creek Road and Highway 43. Sheriff Jason Ard identified the main suspects as Robert “Rob” Brewer, 56; Gabriel “Trell” Brewer, 52; and Darryl Hutchinson, 50.
Multiple search warrants were executed, leading to several arrests and the seizure of drugs and other items. Arrested were Samara Rousse, 33, and Timothy Jones, 66, who was arrested via summons.
Seized items included approximately 19.9 grams of crack cocaine, 6.3 grams of cocaine, 8.1 grams of fentanyl, 40.2 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of marijuana, three Suboxone pills, three firearms, and packaging materials with digital scales.
Sheriff Ard said three people required hospitalization due to severe health concerns, and additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
