
GEORGIA — Multiple people were arrested following a series of traffic stops in Coffee County that led to the discovery of illegal drugs and firearms, according to authorities.
The arrests stem from investigations conducted between March 17 and March 22 by the Douglas Police Department, the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit and the Drug Interdiction and Criminal Enforcement Unit (D.I.C.E.).
Officials said six individuals were arrested and booked into the Coffee County Jail during that time.
On March 17, Brandy Sweat was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop at North Madison Avenue and East Jackson Street. That same day, Leslie Crosby was arrested on similar charges after being pulled over on Georgia Highway 32 West. Authorities said the stop led to a search of Crosby’s residence.
On March 18, Bennett Swinson was arrested after investigators recovered a stolen firearm along with fentanyl, MDMA, commonly known as Molly, and methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
On March 20, Corry Hulett was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine after a stop near Highway 441. Investigators reported finding a large quantity of methamphetamine.
On March 21, Adan Granadas-Camacho was arrested for driving under the influence. Authorities said he was also found in possession of cocaine and a firearm during the commission of a crime.
On March 22, Billy Reliford was arrested after officers discovered methamphetamine during a traffic stop near North Madison Avenue and North Street.
Authorities said the cases remain under investigation.
