Multiple inches of snow possible in parts of Pennsylvania Tuesday

PENNSYLVANIA — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties from 7 p.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Forecast:

  • Snowfall: 2 to 5 inches expected
  • Winds: Gusts reaching 40 to 50 mph
  • Hazards: Blowing snow may reduce visibility, and gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Impacts:

  • Slippery road conditions and reduced visibility will likely affect travel.
  • The hazardous conditions could make for a difficult Tuesday morning commute.

Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution while driving.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission recommend delaying unnecessary travel and checking 511pa.com for the latest road conditions.
