OHIO — The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Storm Watch for parts of northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania, warning of heavy lake-enhanced snow beginning Sunday evening.
The watch is in effect from Sunday evening through late Monday night for Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula Inland, Medina and Summit counties in Ohio. In Pennsylvania, the watch covers Northern Erie and Southern Erie counties from Sunday evening through Tuesday morning.

Forecasters say heavy lake-enhanced snow is possible, with the potential for 6 inches or more of accumulation across the affected areas.
Light snow is expected to move into the region Sunday, producing minimal accumulations mainly on grassy surfaces. Heavier snow is forecast to develop Sunday evening, with periods of heavy snowfall possible Sunday night into Monday night.
Travel conditions could become difficult, especially during the Monday morning and evening commutes, according to the weather service.
Residents are urged to monitor the latest forecasts for updates as the storm system develops.
