NEW YORK — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Hamilton, Northern Herkimer, and Northern Oneida Counties, in effect until 1 a.m. Monday.
Snowfall is expected to continue throughout the day, with additional accumulations of 2 to 6 inches in Hamilton and Northern Herkimer Counties and 3 to 6 inches in Northern Oneida County, with higher amounts near the northern border.
Road conditions are expected to be slippery, and visibility may be reduced in heavier snow showers.
Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution while traveling.
Pedestrians should also be careful, as sidewalks, stairs, and driveways could become icy and hazardous.
