Multiple inches of snow expected in parts of Ohio Wednesday

OHIO — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for several counties in northwest Ohio, effective from 1 PM Wednesday, February 12, to 7 AM Thursday, February 13.

The affected areas include Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams counties.

Residents can expect mixed precipitation during this period, with total snow and sleet accumulations of up to two inches, primarily along and north of the US 24 corridor.

Ice accumulations are anticipated to be around one-tenth of an inch.

These conditions are likely to result in slippery roadways, potentially impacting both the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

The advisory also covers portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

The National Weather Service advises motorists to slow down and exercise caution while traveling.

In addition to the advisory, the forecast for Defiance, Ohio, indicates considerable cloudiness on Wednesday, with brisk and chilly conditions.
