OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a car that occurred Thursday night at the intersection of U.S. Route 422 and Anderson Anthony Road.
Troopers were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m.
According to OSHP, a car had stopped at a stop sign before entering the intersection, where it was struck by an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Troopers said the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to take a second look before pulling into roadways.
Officials thanked the Champion Police Department, Champion Fire Department, West Farmington Fire Department, May’s Towing, and Bud’s Towing for their assistance at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
