NORTH CAROLINA — A man who had been missing for more than a week has been found dead, according to the Asheville Police Department.
Authorities said 60-year-old Gerald Bethel Colwell was reported missing on March 18. He was last seen on March 10 on Patton Avenue in Asheville.
On Friday, March 27, police announced that Colwell had been located deceased.
Investigators said no foul play is suspected at this time.
The case remains under investigation.
