OHIO — The body of a missing man was discovered in a creek Thursday by Brown County sheriff’s deputies, authorities said.
Deputies identified the man as 39-year-old Tommy Richmond, who was last seen around 6 a.m. on Jan. 31. A missing person report was filed after he was reported missing.
According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Richmond’s body was found in a creek on South Second Street in Ripley.
The sheriff’s office is working with the Brown County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
