FLORIDA — A missing diver was found dead near Singer Island after his boat washed ashore, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the man’s body was discovered near a barge wreck diving site, where he was found against a pile of rocks.
A bystander retrieved the man from the water and brought him to shore before calling 911.
Officials with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Coast Guard are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No additional information about the diver has been released.
