OHIO — Ohio’s minimum wage will rise on Jan. 1, 2025, increasing to $10.70 per hour for non-tipped workers and $5.35 per hour for tipped employees.

The adjustment reflects a 2.4% increase in the Consumer Price Index for urban wage earners and clerical workers from Sept. 1, 2023, to Aug. 31, 2024.

This annual increase is required by a 2006 constitutional amendment, which ties wage adjustments to inflation.

Currently, Ohio’s minimum wage is $10.45 per hour for non-tipped workers and $5.25 per hour for tipped employees.

The federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour will continue to apply to workers aged 14 and 15.
