PENNSYLVANIA — Those hoping for a snowy Christmas in Pennsylvania this year may be in luck according to the latest GFS model run.
As of Sunday evening, the GFS is showing the chance of rounds of snow in Pennsylvania beginning Monday evening and lasting through Christmas Day.
It’s important to note that this is not a forecast, but simply a run of one weather model.

The current run of the GFS model shows most of Pennsylvania receiving anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of snow by Christmas Day on Thursday.
The GFS currently has Susquehanna, Bradford, Tioga, Potter, and Lycoming counties receiving the most snow with around 4+ inches possible.
Central Pennsylvania looks to possibly see 2-3 inches of snow while western and southern Pennsylvania could see an inch or two.
Things can and will change so be sure to keep up with the latest forecasts at weather.gov.
