OHIO — A fast-moving clipper system is expected to bring snow to parts of Ohio tonight, according to the National Weather Service Cleveland.
Forecasters say widespread light snow will develop across the region as the system moves through. While much of the snowfall is expected to remain light, a brief burst of heavier snow is possible in some areas during the overnight hours.

In Northwest Ohio, snowfall totals are generally expected to range from around an inch or less. Higher totals are forecast farther east and northeast, particularly in areas closer to the Pennsylvania state line.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for portions of northwest Pennsylvania, where 2 to 5 inches of snow are possible. Although the heaviest snow is expected outside of Ohio, drivers across the state should still prepare for reduced visibility and slick road conditions at times tonight and into early Wednesday.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and use caution, especially during periods of heavier snowfall.
