Counties under the advisory include Franklin, Madison, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Miami, Shelby and Licking counties. Cities such as Columbus, Springfield, Urbana, Troy, Sidney, Greenville and Newark are expected to receive between 1 and 2 inches of snow before the system moves out later this morning.
Additional counties in southwest and south central Ohio are also included in the advisory.
These include Preble, Montgomery, Greene, Fayette, Pickaway, Fairfield, Butler, Warren, Clinton, Ross, Hocking, Highland, Pike, Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Adams and Scioto counties. Communities such as Dayton, Xenia, Middletown, Mason, Lebanon, Chillicothe, Lancaster, Circleville, Wilmington, Hillsboro and Portsmouth could see 1 to 2 inches of snow, with isolated higher amounts possible in some areas.
