OHIO — A 24-year-old man is dead and his father has been arrested following a stabbing late Friday night on the city’s east side.
Columbus police were called to a home in the 1100 block of Barlowe Run Drive, near North Waggoner Road, around 10:45 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
Officers found Vincent Wilburn with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:00 p.m.
The victim’s father, 54-year-old Christopher Wilburn, was taken into custody at the scene.
According to court records, Christopher confessed to the killing during a police interview. He has been charged with murder.
