London Police Department welcomes new officer

London Police Department

LONDON — The London Police Department welcomed its newest member, Officer Denise Dye, on Monday, October 7th.

Officer Dye was sworn in by Mayor Patrick Closser and brings with her a wealth of experience.

She earned her Ohio Basic Peace Officer Certification through the Columbus Police Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Officer Dye is married and has two young children.

While she joins the force, the department still has one remaining vacancy and one cadet currently in a basic academy.
