OHIO — Police served a search warrant Wednesday at a South Side home, seizing large quantities of drugs and a semiautomatic handgun, officials reported.
Officers executed the warrant just after 4 p.m. at a residence on 615 W. LaClede Ave. and discovered a large duffle bag of marijuana in the kitchen.
In a car parked in the driveway, they found three large bags of methamphetamine, two large bags of cocaine, and three bags of fentanyl.
A bag of mushrooms and a semiautomatic handgun were also recovered inside the home, along with two security cameras.
No one was present when police arrived. The drugs have been turned over to the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force for testing. Charges are expected to be filed in municipal court at a later date.
