WILLARD, OH – Lakeside Book Company, a leading provider of book printing, binding, and distribution solutions, is set to expand its operations in Willard, Ohio.
The company announced a significant $18 million investment to purchase and install a new 64-page, 4-color offset, wide-web Lithoman press, expected to be operational by July 2025.
This expansion will create 100 new jobs and retain 470 existing positions, further strengthening the region’s advanced manufacturing sector.
The new press will enable Lakeside Book to utilize the latest book production technology, enhancing its ability to deliver superior and reliable solutions to its diverse customer base, which includes trade, government, healthcare, and educational markets.
CEO Dave McCree emphasized the importance of this investment.
The expansion highlights Ohio’s role as a leader in advanced manufacturing, with its 600,000-strong skilled workforce. Collaborators on the project include JobsOhio, Team NEO, the Ohio Department of Development, and local government entities in Willard and Huron County.
