Juvenile sent to hospital following vehicle crash in Ohio

OHIO — A 17-year-old Pandora girl was transported to the hospital Sunday morning after losing control of her vehicle on an icy road and crashing into a power pole.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio, Anna Schlumbohm was driving on Bentley Road in Richland Township when she hit an ice patch, causing her to veer off the road.

Her vehicle struck a mailbox before colliding with a power pole.

Bluffton Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported Schlumbohm to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center with a possible injury.

The crash was reported at 10:19 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.
