Juvenile on bicycle struck by Toledo Public Schools bus

TOLEDO — A juvenile riding a bicycle was struck by a Toledo Public Schools bus Friday morning at the intersection of Collingwood Boulevard and Indiana Avenue.

According to Toledo Police, the bus was traveling northbound on Collingwood when the incident occurred.

As the bus attempted to make a right turn onto Indiana, the juvenile reportedly rode off the sidewalk and into the bus’s path, leading to the collision.

The juvenile was transported to the hospital as a precaution but is believed to be uninjured.

The bus driver was not hurt, and no students were aboard at the time of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
