SOUTH CAROLINA — The Maxton Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old that occurred Saturday night.
Police Chief Schirra Johnson said the incident took place around midnight on North Brooklyn Street, near North McNair Street.
Authorities have identified persons of interest in connection with the shooting.
Chief Johnson added that more information will be released as the investigation continues.
