VIRGINIA — A juvenile is facing multiple charges after a police pursuit ended in a crash early Saturday morning, according to the Henrico County Police Division.
Officers responded to a report in the area of Lauderdale Drive and N. Gayton Road around 3:41 a.m. on Nov. 29. Police said the driver fled when officers arrived, prompting a pursuit. Minutes later, the vehicle crashed near Lauderdale Drive and Westshire Lane.
A juvenile suspect was detained and is now charged with felony eluding, reckless driving, and driving without a license. Police said two other individuals who were in the vehicle ran from the scene on foot, and no one was inside the car when officers reached it.
Henrico Police said no further charges are pending. No additional details have been released.
