EAST ROCHESTER — Authorities in Columbiana County are investigating the deaths of two people found in a home late Monday afternoon.
Deputies were called to a residence in the 24000 block of Ridge Road, just outside Minerva, around 4:30 p.m. for a welfare check.
Shortly after, a second call came in reporting that a teenager had discovered his parents dead inside the home.
Upon arrival, deputies found the two victims, both of whom had been shot.
The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office are working together to determine the circumstances of the deaths.
Children Services personnel were also called to the scene.
Detectives are continuing their investigation.
