OHIO — An inmate was injured Friday morning during a stabbing at a private prison on the East Side, according to reports.
Police were called around 8:10 a.m. to the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center on Hubbard Road. Prison staff told officers that an inmate was stabbed in the head and hand during an argument with another inmate.
The injured inmate was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment.
No additional details were immediately available.
