Indiana school closings and delays for Wednesday

INDIANA — Numerous school districts and educational programs across Indiana will have delayed openings or closures on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, due to winter weather and operational concerns.

Most districts, including Bloomfield School District, Brown County School Corporation, Eminence Community School Corporation, Greencastle Community School Corporation, Midwest Bartenders School, Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation (Hancock), North White School Corporation, Shakamak Schools MSD, and Spencer-Owen Community Schools, will open two hours late.

Several other schools in Clark and surrounding counties, including Clarksville Community Schools, Clarksville Elementary, Clarksville Middle, and Clarksville High School, will also operate on a two-hour delay throughout the day, including morning, afternoon, and evening sessions.

Crawford County Schools, Greater Clark County Schools, Lanesville Community Schools, Madison Consolidated Schools, North Harrison Schools, and South Harrison Schools will similarly open two hours late.

In addition, the Mitchell Community Public Library will be closed, while senior centers in Henry and Rush counties have canceled scheduled activities. Families are advised to check local announcements for updates and exercise caution while traveling.
