Identities released of two men dead in Ohio vehicle crash

OHIO — The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has identified the two men who died in a crash early Sunday morning on the city’s South Side.

Julian Miller, 23, and Jaivon Miller, 22, were killed in the crash, which occurred around 4:17 a.m. on the 100 block of Williams Road, according to the coroner’s office.

Columbus police said the men were among three occupants in a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle struck a utility pole before colliding with a tree in the yard of a nearby home.

Both Julian and Jaivon Miller were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not confirmed whether the two men were related.

A third person in the vehicle, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police said all three occupants were ejected from the Jeep during the crash.

The Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate.
