OHIO — A crash involving multiple semitrucks shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near West Jefferson on Monday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before the state Route 142 exit and involved three semitrucks.
Troopers responded to the scene shortly after the incident, but no details about injuries have been released at this time.
There is currently no estimate on when the eastbound lanes of I-70 will reopen.
Drivers are advised to take a detour by exiting at U.S. 42 and using U.S. 40 to continue into Columbus.
