TENNESSEE — Clarksville police are investigating a crash that occurred early Thursday morning along Interstate 24.
According to authorities, the crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. when a motorist exiting I-24 westbound at Exit 11 struck the rear of a semi tractor-trailer that was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway.
Police said the Exit 11 off-ramp is currently closed as officers investigate the crash and crews work at the scene.
Drivers traveling through the area are being advised to use the Exit 8 off-ramp as an alternate route.
Additional details about the crash, including whether anyone was injured, have not been released. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
