OHIO — Kent police are investigating after gunshots were fired inside a downtown bar Thursday night.
According to a Friday news release, officers responded to Bar Lucci, located at 257 N. Water Street, after reports of shots fired inside the establishment. Police said the incident occurred as employees were clearing out the bar for the night.
A fight reportedly broke out, and a man pulled out a handgun and fired a shot, prompting patrons to run outside. A nearby officer, who heard the gunfire, arrived moments later to secure the scene.
Police said no victims or suspects were found, and no injuries have been reported.
