
VIRGINIA — Weis grocery stores in Virginia will be closed Sunday due to a winter storm expected to impact the region, according to the company.
In a statement posted on social media, Weis Markets announced that all Virginia locations — including pharmacies and gas stations — will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 25, citing safety concerns related to the inclement weather.
“To ensure the safety of our associates and customers, our stores, including our pharmacies & gas stations, will be CLOSED SUNDAY, 1/25 due to inclement weather,” the company stated.
Weis said stores are expected to reopen on Monday at 8 a.m., weather and road conditions permitting. Customers are encouraged to monitor local forecasts and check for updates before traveling.
