Grocery store chain announces closure of all Pennsylvania locations

PENNSYLVANIA — Weis grocery stores will be closed Sunday due to a winter storm expected to impact the region, the company announced.

In a post on its Facebook page, Weis Markets said all locations, including pharmacies and gas stations, will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 25.

“To ensure the safety of our associates and customers, our stores, including our pharmacies & gas stations, will be CLOSED SUNDAY, 1/25 due to inclement weather,” the company stated.

Weis said its stores are expected to reopen on Monday at 8 a.m. Customers are encouraged to check local conditions and company updates before traveling.
