
MARYLAND — Weis grocery stores in Maryland will be closed Sunday as a winter storm moves through the region, according to the company.
In a social media announcement, Weis Markets said all Maryland locations, including pharmacies and gas stations, will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 25, citing safety concerns for customers and employees.
“To ensure the safety of our associates and customers, our stores, including our pharmacies & gas stations, will be CLOSED SUNDAY, 1/25 due to inclement weather,” the company said in its statement.
Weis said its Maryland stores are expected to reopen Monday at 8 a.m., weather and road conditions permitting. Customers are encouraged to monitor local weather conditions and company updates before traveling.
