
ALABAMA — A “major” traffic accident in DeKalb County left four people injured and forced the closure of part of a state highway Friday morning, according to officials.
The crash occurred along Alabama Highway 75 in the 38000 block near Fyffe, according to the DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency. Authorities said the incident resulted in significant roadway blockage, with a portion of the highway expected to remain closed for an extended period.
Emergency responders transported all four individuals involved in the crash to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as crews continue to respond to the scene.
