OHIO — Four people were hospitalized early Saturday morning following a crash involving a police vehicle, according to the Toledo Police Department (TPD).
The crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Upton Avenue.
TPD officials said the police vehicle was traveling with its emergency lights and sirens activated when it approached Wychwood Street.
Authorities stated that a southbound car on Upton Avenue failed to yield, leading to a collision that disabled both vehicles.
Three individuals inside the police vehicle, including two officers, were transported to a hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was also hospitalized.
The extent of the injuries remains unclear at this time. TPD continues to investigate the incident.
