FLORIDA — An investigation is underway after four people were found dead during a welfare check Friday night in Ocala, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they were called to a home on Banyan Track Way, near Southeast 58th Avenue, shortly before 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two adults and two children deceased inside the residence.
Detectives are working to determine the cause of death. While deputies described the deaths as suspicious, officials said there is no threat to the community.
The identities of the deceased have not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
