OHIO — Four men from Illinois were arrested after allegedly trespassing at the former William H. Zimmer Power Station along U.S. 52 in Clermont County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said growing interest on social media has led to an uptick in young adults and juveniles entering the shuttered facility to take photos and videos for online content.
The four suspects were detained during a routine check of the property.
Each man was charged with a felony count of aggravated trespass and is being held without bond at the Clermont County Jail. A warrant has also been issued for a fifth individual whose whereabouts are unknown, officials said.
The four arrested men are scheduled to make their first court appearance today in Clermont County Municipal Court.
