KENTUCKY — Four people are facing charges after detectives with the Bowling Green Police Department and the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force conducted surveillance and executed a search warrant at a home on Newton Avenue.
Police said detectives began monitoring the residence on December 9 following multiple complaints of activity consistent with drug trafficking. Officers later stopped a man seen leaving the home, and evidence obtained during the stop led detectives to secure a warrant to search the property.
Inside the residence, investigators found a large quantity of methamphetamine along with several handguns, some of which were reportedly stolen.
The following individuals were arrested:
Jared Omar Pero, 45, of Bowling Green – charged with trafficking methamphetamine (enhanced), possession of fentanyl, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), tampering with physical evidence, and probation violation for a felony offense.
Joseph Crawford McDorman, 37, of Portland, Tennessee – charged with failure to signal, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.
Judah Haws, 22, of Bowling Green – charged with trafficking methamphetamine (enhanced), possession of fentanyl, receiving stolen property (firearm), tampering with physical evidence, and failure to appear.
Leigha E. Rivas, 19, of Bowling Green – charged with trafficking methamphetamine (enhanced), possession of fentanyl, receiving stolen property (firearm), and tampering with physical evidence.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
