
KENTUCKY — Several people have been arrested following a drug trafficking investigation in Montgomery County, authorities said.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted multiple traffic stops Tuesday that led to the arrests of three individuals. Julian Piersawl, 29, Keisha Powell, 37, and James Brown, 37, are each charged with trafficking fentanyl and engaging in organized crime.
In a separate traffic stop, deputies also arrested 63-year-old Donald Chaplin. He is charged with driving under the influence and trafficking methamphetamine.
Officials said the arrests are part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activity in the community.
