Four people arrested following drug bust in Florida

FLORIDA — Deputies in Volusia County arrested four people in DeLand following a drug investigation at a home on West Beresford Avenue.

Authorities say they made three undercover purchases of cocaine from residents at 519 W. Beresford Ave. before executing a search warrant.

During the raid, deputies recovered crack cocaine, fentanyl, and MDMA.

One suspect was found in the bathroom attempting to flush crack down the toilet, according to officials.

No other information has been released at this time.
