
VIRGINIA — Four people have been arrested in connection with multiple four-wheeler thefts, with authorities recovering stolen vehicles valued at approximately $40,000.
The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division reported that two adults and two juveniles were taken into custody following an investigation into several four-wheeler larcenies across the county.
The adults, 22-year-old Arkel Bell of Chase City and 20-year-old Daniel Scott Alexander of Boydton, were charged with grand larceny. Two juveniles have also been identified as suspects and will face charges, authorities said.
Deputies said the investigation focused on incidents that occurred between July 23 and July 26, involving property that was stolen or deliberately damaged. Seven stolen four-wheelers have been recovered so far.
Investigators are still searching for six dirt bikes and three racing-style four-wheelers. Anyone with information about the stolen property is asked to contact the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office at 434-738-6171.
