Four people arrested after car crashes into home during police chase in Ohio

OHIO — Four juveniles were taken into custody early Tuesday morning after police say a stolen car they were driving crashed into a home in Garfield Heights.

According to authorities, the incident began around 3:20 a.m. when officers attempted to stop a vehicle reported stolen out of Euclid on Broadway Avenue.

Instead of pulling over, the driver fled, sparking an 18-minute pursuit that traveled through several cities before returning to Garfield Heights.

The chase came to an end on Blythin Road when the vehicle lost control and crashed into a residence. Police said the juveniles tried to run from the scene but were quickly apprehended.

No injuries have been reported, and the case remains under investigation. Because of their ages, the names of the juveniles will not be released.
