FLORIDA — A Franklin County cheer coach has been arrested on fraud-related charges after authorities say she misused thousands of dollars in team funds.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Samantha Hudson was taken into custody following an investigation into missing money connected to a local competition cheer team she led.
Investigators allege that more than $3,500 in team funds were not used for their intended purpose. Officials have not released additional details about how the money was allegedly spent.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities believe there may be additional victims.
