
FLORIDA — One adult and four juveniles were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred at the intersection of Hiawassee Road and Somersworth Drive, just south of the Publix Supermarket at Metro West Village. The collision caused traffic delays in the area as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Authorities said the adult was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. The four juveniles were taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for medical care.
The extent of the injuries has not been released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
