INDIANA — Five people were arrested on drug charges following a multi-day investigation by the Indiana State Police (ISP) in Spencer and Warrick counties.

The investigation began after multiple complaints and tips about Brian L. Harrison, 45, of Grandview, who is currently on parole for a methamphetamine-dealing conviction.

On August 13, troopers observed a suspected drug transaction involving Harrison at a business in Reo, located in a school zone. A subsequent traffic stop near Rockport led to the arrest of Charles E. Parker, 57, who was found with suspected methamphetamine.

Later that day, police stopped Harrison’s vehicle and arrested him and his passenger, Haylee M. Moog, 24, of Boonville, on multiple meth-related charges.

Two days later, investigators located Ora L. Murphy, 41, of Richland City, who was found with 32.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and a controlled substance belonging to Harrison. She was arrested in Warrick County.

On August 19, police arrested Robert E. Payton, 61, of Rockport, after finding him with suspected meth and marijuana.

All five suspects were taken to the Spencer County Jail.
