GEORGIA — Five people were arrested Wednesday after the Cairo Police Department executed search warrants at two residences following a month-long investigation, according to a department press release.

Police said the investigation led officers to search two homes in Cairo. At one of the residences, officers arrested 19-year-old Keyon Stuart on a charge of trafficking cocaine.

Authorities said a second residence searched was located near Washington Middle School. During that search, officers arrested Tony Davis, 44, Sophia Davis, 55, Kapriona Davis, 18, and Shaynia Davis, 24.

According to police, the four suspects face charges including possession of marijuana, cocaine and MDMA pills with intent to distribute. They were also charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and within 1,000 feet of a housing project.

Tony Davis faces an additional charge of possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute.

All five suspects were taken to the Grady County Jail. The Cairo Police Department said the investigation remains ongoing.
