ALABAMA — The Priceville Police Department arrested five men early Saturday morning on drug trafficking charges, according to officials.

Officers stopped a vehicle on I-65 near mile marker 334 around 12:15 a.m. on August 16.

The men in the vehicle were identified as Jaymond Lamar Gatson, 26, and Russell Seltzer, 23, both of Prichard; Jamarion Levontae King, 22, and Christopher Deshawn Reed, 20, both of Mobile; and Meshak Lazarrick Gay, 29, of Gulfport, Mississippi.

Police said the vehicle exhibited signs of possible criminal activity, prompting a probable cause search.

Officers recovered approximately three pounds of synthetic narcotics (THC concentrates and oil), roughly 10 ounces of marijuana, and multiple drug paraphernalia items, all packaged in black market dispensary materials.

All five men were taken to the Morgan County Jail and face charges of trafficking dangerous drugs and first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana. Bond amounts had not yet been set by a Morgan County Circuit Judge.
