Fire causes extensive damage to Liberty Township home

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — A fire caused extensive damage to a house in Liberty Township early this morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 3 a.m. at a residence on Carriage House Boulevard, where they found the flames had already spread throughout the home.

According to officials, the fire originated on the back deck, and strong winds complicated firefighters’ efforts to contain it.

Fortunately, all residents were able to escape safely, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters are continuing to investigate the cause of the blaze.
