OHIO — The FBI and Dayton Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating a man considered “armed and dangerous” in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this year.
Authorities are searching for 38-year-old Quandric Lavar Morris-Ogelsby, who is wanted in the death of Kayson Webb on April 5 at a bar in the 1900 block of North Main Street in Dayton.
According to Dayton police, Morris-Ogelsby allegedly shot and killed Webb following a dice game inside the establishment. Investigators said he left the scene and went to a friend’s home in Middletown, where his vehicle was later found.
Morris-Ogelsby, also known by the alias “Quanny,” is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds. He has known ties to Dayton, Columbus, and Xenia, as well as Houston, Texas, and Ocala, Florida.
On April 8, Morris-Ogelsby was charged in Dayton Municipal Court with murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to his location and arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to contact their local FBI office or call Miami Valley Crime Stoppers at 937-222-7867 to remain anonymous.
