Eight inches of snow possible in parts of Ohio Tuesday

OHIO — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Meigs, Gallia, and Lawrence counties in Ohio, effective from late Monday night through Wednesday morning.

Forecasters warn of the possibility of heavy snow, with accumulations ranging from 3 to 8 inches.

The storm is expected to impact portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and much of West Virginia.

Road conditions may become hazardous, particularly during the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.

Officials urge residents to prepare for slippery roads and monitor weather updates.
