PENNSYLVANIA — A man wanted on drug-trafficking charges was taken into custody this week following a police raid at a residence in Wilkes-Barre Township, authorities said.
According to police, officers executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home on Church Street that had been the subject of ongoing complaints from neighbors. Investigators said the property was suspected of drug activity and other quality-of-life issues and was described as a nuisance location.
During the raid, police said they seized drug paraphernalia along with three firearms.
Authorities arrested 43-year-old Kyran “Twin” Halif Davis at the scene. Police said Davis had been actively avoiding law enforcement after failing to appear in court on pending drug-trafficking charges.
Officials said Davis was previously arrested in April 2025 after allegedly being found with fentanyl and the veterinary tranquilizer xylazine during a traffic stop. Court records show he had been released on $75,000 unsecured bail and was scheduled to go to trial earlier this week.
A judge revoked his bail and issued a warrant after he failed to appear in court. Following his arrest Tuesday, another judge reinstated his $75,000 unsecured bail and scheduled a new trial date for April 20.
Davis faces multiple charges, including drug trafficking, drug possession, misbranding a controlled substance, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said the investigation into the property and potential additional charges remains ongoing.
